“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
What whispers in your ear? For me, I’ve heard it all.
“I will never make it.”
“I’m not good enough.”
“I can’t be fixed.”
It is a battle we all fight every day. The question is why?
2 Corinthians tells us to boast of our weaknesses for Christ’s power rests in us. Boast? Of my weaknessess?
Recently, I was playing with my grandson in the yard. He wanted help climbing a tree and he knew he couldn’t do it on his own. He yelled out, “Papa, I need you!”
While it brought a huge smile to my face, I thought of God. How important it is for us to reach out to Him. To call out to Him. To tell Him, “God, I need you! I can’t do this on my own!”
Whatever it is – fear, sickness, obstacles, insecurity, grief – He wants to hear from you and in His power you can rest on Him. Sometimes we can be so caught up in our mess, we forget to ask for help from the Deliverer. God has your answer. Call on Him today.
